The ODC aluminium fixed window or picture window is stylish and timeless in its design. Consisting of one visible pane of glass held in a robust slimline aluminium frame, each window is custom-made to create your view. A large picture window will transform any room, framing a unique perspective on your outside space and capturing natural light throughout the day.
An instant focal point in a living room, kitchen-dining area or bedroom, a large frameless window is a strong architectural design feature for a new home, renovation or extension. Bespoke to the layout, orientation and height of your room, a fixed window can be any shape. Combined with aluminium casement windows, bay windows or sliding doors, fixed windows can create a spectacular wall of glass. Installed next to external doors, they will illuminate a hallway or open up a dark stairwell with a fresh and energising first floor view.
Our modern double-glazed fixed windows are available as single installations or as part of a unified glazing package with colours, profiles and finishes to match opening casement windows, sliding doors and bifolds from the ODC range. With no moving elements, they are a cost-effective choice for adding light to your interior.

FIXED WINDOWS & GLASS WALLS
Fixed window sections are a key element of bespoke glass curtain walls for gable end glazing and glazed entrance halls. With the same profiles and specifications, these fixed windows combine with sliding doors, opening windows and entrance doors to create full and double height walls of glass.
Fixed frame windows with extraordinary proportions and unique dimensions add individuality to architecture, and our ODC designers frequently work with architects and their clients to create glass walling for glazing with impact.
FIXED window frame sizes
ODC aluminium fixed window frames are light and strong to suit openings up to 2500mm (W) x 3000mm (H). Dimensions are completely bespoke; large format fixed frame windows will extend a sliding door system to create glass walls. Smaller fixed windows will open up light sources in external walls to create more ambient light whilst preserving your privacy .

FIXED WINDOW DURABILITY
Our windows are constructed from high-quality aluminium, and are designed to withstand exposure to wind, rain, snow and sun. The powder-coated finish is easy to maintain and extremely durable.
Additional protection in the form of anodised frames and marine grade paints finishes are available for windows designed for homes in exposed and coastal locations.
MODERN WINDOW SECURITY
Fixed windows are extremely safe and secure. With no moving components and bonded frames, a fixed frame window offers exceptional levels of security and resistance to opportunist intruders. Windows are specified with either double or triple toughened glass; this second layer creates a protective, shock-absorbing layer that will limit impact damage.
Optional laminated security glass can be specified and its superb resistance to brick and hammer blows deters any attempt at entry via a glazed area.
