Reminiscent of industrial lofts, yet equally at home in new build glazing schemes, ODC Metro offers an opportunity to customise ODC windows and doors with glazing bars. Vertical or horizontal bars can capture industrial loft detailing or classic Georgian symmetry, transforming large areas of glass into smaller elements within each unit. Available across a range of our bi-folding doors and sliding systems as well as casement windows and fixed windows.

VERSATILITY
A popular statement style in black, our aluminium glazing bar windows have architectural, angular glazing bars which are reminiscent of steel look window frames and doors. Metro offers a period, Crittall or retro look but with all the versatility of aluminium – it’s the ideal material for bespoke glazing projects, particularly glass extensions and structures for period homes. Metro can also be specified on windows with any RAL colour and in multiple sizes for architectural individuality and variation.
The ODC Metro is a truly versatile system that can be specified to complement almost any home.
DURABILITY
The durability of aluminium glazing bar windows and doors is a real advantage. Powder-coated aluminium withstands exposure to the elements, and this makes the Metro customisation an ideal choice for homes where maintenance might be an issue. Install Metro windows with glazing bars on upper storeys and high level openings and avoid the cost of repainting.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Aluminium windows have superb energy efficiency. Glazing bar customisation does not affect this. ODC Metro range glazing bars are made from the same material as the main window or sliding system frame, maintaining appropriate proportions. The glazing bars are applied to the sealed glazed panes ensuring U-Values and weather performance remain unchanged.

Metro aluminium windows are finished in three classic and timeless colours, Anthracite Grey, Black or White. A dual colour option allows for a different colour for the inside frame. You can also specify frames in bespoke colours for a unique look. All finishes are covered by our 10 year product guarantee.
