Garden Room Sliding Doors Create a Chilled Space
Approached through mature pine trees via asymmetrical steps, is a very cool garden room. It’s an uncompromising contemporary box in design. Its bespoke slimline architectural cladding is entirely matt black, with texture and interest created by a balance of vertical and horizontal lines. A glass wall reveals a space designed for work and relaxation, its muted colours, oak flooring, lighting and soft furnishings setting the mood for an inviting ‘escape’ destination.
Ultra-slim Sliding Doors
The team specified a high performance ODC SL320 slimline sliding system with two moving panels. These floor-to-ceiling glass doors have ultra-slim frames in keeping with the minimal aesthetic of the architect’s design. Here the system creates a glass wall over five metres wide. Panels glide on stainless steel tracks, and are installed with flush thresholds. Handles inside and out are colour-matched in black, and the system has the SL320’s exceptional security features.
Contemporary Matt Black Frames
These sliding doors are finished in a standard matt black powder coating. It’s not only a contemporary finish to complement the garden room’s architectural style, it offers long term protection against weather and UV damage. Powder-coated aluminium doors are extremely low maintenance and easy to clean, an important consideration given its location under a tree canopy.
