COASTAL GLAZING TRANSFORMATION

This project is a great example of how retro-fitted sliding doors can transform a property. Installed at first floor level in a terraced seafront property that had previously only enjoyed views from its original casement windows, the huge ODC SL800 large format glass doors now open up the reverse living first floor living room and optimise the mesmerising views onto Poole Harbour.

A Sliding System for Views

For this project we specified a 4.8 metre wide sliding door system, with one enormous uninterrrupted fixed panel and a  smaller sliding element, all with 34mm minimal profiles for both the surround and the mullions. The track is flush with the level of the first floor and the balcony, giving the desired ‘outside-in’ feel.

The system has the highest weather performance ratings, ideal for its exposed harbour-side location. We love this project; it showcases our tough, beautiful coastal glazing perfectly!
